Who is jember<\/h3>\n

To us, Jember means a passion for engineering, innovation and new solution approaches with the aim of creating something special.<\/p>\n

Andreas Hipp and Stephan Mauk have applied this motto in the establishment of Jember GmbH in Munich. Many years of experience in both development and management have helped us understand the needs of our customers and staff members. Here is a short overview of the steps in our careers:<\/p>\n

Andreas Hipp<\/h3>\n

After graduating as an engineer from the Technical University of Munich, Andreas Hipp worked in several companies in the field of development. Initially, he worked as a development engineer for a leading Munich-based aerospace company, and later was head of department for an Australian telecommunications supplier. In Australia he also acquired his Master of Business Administration at the University of Queensland. In 2003, Andreas Hipp switched to an international engineering services provider, at first as a business unit manager, later as a managing director. After that he was the founder and managing shareholder of an engineering firm.<\/p>\n

Since 2015, Andreas and Stephan have been working very successfully to build up jember GmbH.<\/p>\n

Stephan Mauk<\/h3>\n

After graduating as an engineer from the Technical University of Munich, Stephan Mauk provided engineering services for various customers in the automotive and aviation industries.<\/p>\n

In 2009, Stephan Mauk joined an engineering start-up, first as head of the Project Management Center of Competence and later as branch manager. During the early years, Stephan contributed significantly to the growth of the young company.<\/p>\n

Since 2015, Stephan and Andreas have been working very successfully to build up jember GmbH.<\/p>\n

Where does the name jember come from?<\/h3>\n

Today our joint passion for engineering is increasingly influenced by digitalisation and interconnectedness.<\/p>\n

It was thus important for us to complement our expertise in engineering with know-how from IT.
\nFor this purpose, we have established a strong team with Experts for IT Solutions.<\/p>\n

jember is the name of a cocoa plantation on the island of Java. Since we are chocolate lovers, jember was named after a cacao plantation on Java with an excellent reputation. The name we have chosen also underlines our ambition to achieve the highest quality and customer satisfaction and the connection of engineering and IT.<\/p>\n
